Mölkky
Mölkky is a Finnish game where pins numbered from 1 to 12 are set out, and a ball is thrown to knock them down. The aim of the game is to reach a total of 50 points in as few throws as possible.
Greatly inspired by Kyykkä, a centuries-old Finnish game, Mölkky was created in the 1990s by a Finnish company focused on professional integration and social support.
The game quickly gained popularity in Finland, but also throughout Europe. It has become so popular that a world championship has existed since 2004, as well as a European championship and a nations' trophy.
