Tambourin
Tambourin is a team sport where two teams of five players compete against each other. Also known as balle au tambourin or jeu de tambourin, this sport is deeply rooted in the western region of Hérault in France, where it holds significant cultural importance. Resembling jeu de paume but without a net, tambourin is the direct descendant of the ball game played in Languedoc between the mid-16th century and 1861.
