Association Alice Milliat

Created in March 2015, the Alice Milliat Association (AAM) acts in support of the Alice Milliat Foundation. It carries out actions to promote the recognition of Alice Milliat and ensures the continuation of her fight against gender inequality and violence in sport.

Since 2016, the AAM has been running projects on a European scale with partners in around ten foreign countries. The challenge is thus to positively evolve the place of women in sport at continental level.

The association organizes events supported by the Alice Milliat Foundation. It is responsible for the Les Sportives en Lumière festival, the Queen's Rugby 7 Festival and the Alice Milliat Trophies.

The organization has also been responsible for the anti-sexual violence cluster, recently renamed the SafeSport Area. This area is dedicated to the prevention of gender-based violence and discrimination, the creation of a safe practice environment and the deployment of projects aimed at strengthening support for victims of sexual violence.

Last but not least, AAM is working to promote equality at the heart of local communities, with the “Route Alice Milliat de l'égalité” project.
